Tail Begins Forming on Comet Elenin

    sydneystargazers | August 10, 2011 at 7:36 pm | Categories: Notes |
As mentioned in a recent post, we now believe from the latest imsges coming from NASA that Elenin is now beginning to develop it's tail.

Below is a picture that we processed to highlight what we believe is the tail beginiing to form on the right side of Elenin.

Doomsday Plane Can Protect The U.S President From Comet Collision

    <ins style="display:inline-table;border:none;height:nullpx;margin:0;padding:0;position:relative;visibility:visible;width:nullpx"><ins id="aswift_2_anchor" style="display:block;border:none;height:nullpx;margin:0;padding:0;position:relative;visibility:visible;width:nullpx"></ins></ins>
Earlier White House letter addresses US must prepare for comet collision Here. Now the U.S. Air Force has offered a rare glimpse inside its 'doomsday' plane, built to protect the President and his inner circle from the ultimate worst-case scenarios such as nuclear war and Asteroids/Comet collision.

    Doomsday Plane:

The E-4B Advanced Airborne Command Post is designed to be used by the National Command Authority as a survivable command post for control of U.S. forces in all levels of conflict including nuclear war. In addition to its primary mission, secondary missions assigned to the E-4B include VIP travel support and Federal Emergency Management Agency support, which provides communications to relief efforts following natural disasters such as hurricanes, earthquakes, asteroids strike.

Fitted with radiation and electromagnetic pulse shields and able to launch within minutes, the $223million [tax payer money] plane is on standby 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Unlike Air Force One, which acts as the President's regular means of long-distance transport, the plane is specifically designed to run the government and the military from the air in the event of nuclear war.

Despite its size, the modified 747 can fly for days without refueling and all E-4B aircraft, as they are technically known, can reach speeds up to 620 miles per hour, 40 miles per hour faster than their commercial counterparts.

People travelling on board can communicate with anyone on the ground and even nuclear submarines can be reached underwater when a five-mile long cable is extended out of the back of the plane for reception.
'[We] drop is down and [it] transmits coded message traffic to U.S. submarines,' Captain W. Scott Ryder told ABC News.

'Give us the phone number of anybody, anytime, anyplace, anywhere on earth, we can get a hold of them,' Master Sergeant Joe Stuart of the U.S. Air Force added.

Aside from all the technology fitted in the plane, it also travels with an elite security team.

'The first people off of the airplane are these guys, they'll position themselves appropriately around the airplane,' Ryder said.

'The secretary also has his own small security staff that does similar things. So these guys are predominately designed to protect our airplane, and the secretary's staff protects him, as an individual.'

The men sleep nearby so the plane can launch within five minutes of an attack.

'If the command centres that are on the ground in the United States have a failure of some sort, or attack, we immediately get airborne. We're on alert 24/7, 365,' Ryder said. 'Constantly there's at least one alert airplane waiting to get airborne.' Source: Dailymail

There seems to be a pattern forming every time Elenin lines up with Earth and another planet or the sun we have an earthquake, the nearer Elenin gets the bigger the earthquakes.

    Comet Elenin:

On 10 December 2010, Leonid Elenin, a little known amateur Russian astronomer from Lubertsy City, in Russia, discovered Comet C/2010 X1, a comet now universally known as Elenin. The researcher from the Russian Academy of Sciences spotted the C/2010 X1 while reviewing four-minute footage from the ISON-NB Observatory (International Scientific Optical Network's Robotic Observatory) in New Mexico.

At the time of discovery, an analysis of its orbit predicted that its perihelion (closest orbital distance to the sun) was a very negligible 8.8 Astronomical Unit (1a.u equals 149,598,000 kilometers) from us.

Recalculation of its orbital path one month later shows that the Elenin’s perihelion has shrunk to a projected 0.15 to 0.24 a.u.

Scientific paper on planetary alignments causing Big Earthquakes:

According to Mensur Omerbashich he used the comet C/2010 X1 (Elenin) for his research, as it has been adding to robustness in terms of very strong seismicity since 2007 (in terms of strongest seismicity: since 1965).

The Elenin will continue intensifying the Earth's very strong seismicity until August-October, 2011. Approximate forecast of earthquakes based on my discoveries is feasible. This demonstration proves my hyperresonator concept, arrived at earlier as a mathematical-physical solution to the most general extension of the georesonator concept possible. read it all

NASA's mission to bomb the Moon

NASA will tomorrow launch a spectacular mission to bomb the Moon. Their LCROSS mission will blast off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, carrying a missile that will blast a hole in the lunar surface at twice the speed of a bullet. The missile, a Centaur rocket, will be steered by a shepherding spacecraft that will guide it towards its target - a crater close to the Moon's south pole. Scientists expect the blast to be so powerful that a huge plume of debris will be ejected.

The attack on the Moon is not a declaration of war or act of wanton vandalism. Space scientists want to see if any water ice or vapour is revealed in the cloud of debris.

Though the Moon mostly a dry airless desert, they believe ice could be trapped in crater shadows near the south pole which never receive any sunlight. If so it could provide vital supplies for a manned moonbase.

Last year, British scientists identified regions where water might be found on the Moon and estimated that there could be enough to fill one of Europe's largest reservoirs.

The spacecraft will not head straight for the Moon. First it will orbit the Earth a number of times while its precise target is identified. Finally, it will send the missile into the Moon at twice the speed of a bullet on October 8.

The shepherding spacecraft will follow close behind, taking pictures and analysing the ejected debris as it looks for evidence of water. It has just four minutes to do this before it crashes into the Moon itself, producing a spectacular explosion that should be visible in amateur astronomers' telescopes.

It is a busy time for Moon crashes. Last week Japan's Kaguya probe collided with the Moon at the end of its own mission.

The LCROSS mission - it stands for Lunar CRater Observation and Sensing Satellite - will launch on an Atlas V rocket together with another spacecraft, called the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.

The orbiter will circle the Moon for at least a year searching for potential landing sites for astronauts when they return there in the next decade. It will also look for suitable materials that might support a colony.

The dual mission was due to blast off today but was delayed to make way for the shuttle Endeavour. However, another hydrogen leak means that the shuttle launch has now been delayed until next month.

The LCROSS (Lunar CRater Observing and Sensing Satellite) mission sent a missile traveling at twice the speed of a bullet to blast a hole in the lunar surface near the moon's South pole.
This isn't a declaration of intergalactic war: The missile hit the lunar surface at the moon's South pole, an area scientists estimate may have billions of tons of trapped ice

The actual impact started at 7.30 am EDT / 4.30 am PDT 11.30 UT),according to NASA.

The Centaur rocket striked first, transforming 2200 kg of mass and 10 billion joules of kinetic energy into a blinding flash of heat and light. Researchers expected the impact to throw up a plume of debris as high as 10 km.

NASA Sun-Watching Satellite Spots Comet Elenin in Deep Space

Posted on Pakalert on August 13, 2011

A NASA spacecraft aimed at the sun shifted its unblinking gaze to an approaching comet last week to snap a new photo of the icy object as it flew by.

The image shows the comet Elenin as it passed within 4.3 million miles (7 million kilometers) of one of NASA’s twin Stereo sun-watching spacecraft during a series of deep space photo sessions that began on Aug. 1. NASA rolled the Stereo-B satellite to give its instruments a view of the comet flyby, officials said.

From Stereo’s observations, the fuzzy comet Elenin can be seen streaking across a small portion of the sky. The comet was seen by Stereo’s HI-2 telescope between Aug. 1 to 5, and by the higher resolution HI-1 telescope between Aug. 6 to 12, NASA officials said. Stereo mission scientists planned to take photos for one-hour every day through Aug. 12. [Best Close Encounters with Comets]“From August 15 onward, the comet enters the HI-1 telescope’s nominal field of view, at which time we should enjoy continuous viewing of the comet,” NASA researchers explained in an update posted to the Stereo mission website.

Comet Elenin is expected to become brighter over the next few days, and could be detectable using Stereo’s coronagraph instrument between Aug. 20 and Sept. 1, NASA officials said. Mission managers are then expecting the comet to become visible to another sun-watching spacecraft – NASA’s Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) – for six days, beginning on Sept. 23.

Comet Elenin was discovered in December by Russian astronomer Leonid Elenin, who spotted the icy wanderer using the International Scientific Optical Network’s robotic observatory near Mayhill, New Mexico.

Viewed from Earth, comet Elenin presently appears as a faint smudge of light in deep sky exposures. By late August the comet could be visible to the naked eye as a dim “fuzzy star” with a tail. [Video: Where Comets Come From]
Comet Elenin will fly through the inner solar system in October 2011 and be 22 million miles (35 million kilometers) away at its closest approach to our planet, NASA scientists have said. The comet is not expected to be particularly dazzling, but the flyby may be a good chance to study a relatively young comet from the outer solar system.

Some doomsday theorists have pinned the Nibiru rogue planet hypothesis on the small comet.

Conspiracy theorists say a planet, known as Nibiru, will swing in from the outskirts of our solar system and collide with Earth and wipe out humanity in 2012. Since no rogue planet has been found in the outer solar system, some people have argued that comet Elenin will be the true culprit in the Nibiru-Earth collision.

NASA has dismissed the notion that comet Elenin is anything other than a dim, wimpy comet. It poses no threat to Earth, making its closest pass at a distance roughly 100 times farther than the distance from Earth to the moon.

NASA’s identical twin Stereo spacecraft were launched in October 2006. They are offset from one another, one flying ahead of the Earth and the other behind. The name “Stereo” is short for Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory.
