Hello all ! What is buddhism mean

What is meaning of word "Buddhism" ?

 

"Buddha" came from pali words which means the knowledgeable , the awakened , the joyjul one.

 

I think the word "Buddhism" means the religion that people
believe the fact that the world is nothing. What you see is just your
imagination. Everything around us is changed all the time.
They teach us to free our soul from the imagination of this world.
Since you are human, you may want to get rich, famous, and
sometimes want to have sex with lover. However, those things
always lead us to suffer and sin. Human always fight with each other
to overcome and get what they want. Someone may get rich but
the money is not belong with him when he is dead. Someone may
become famous but he also suffer when the fame go out from
his life. Someone may deep love with his lovers and also become
sad when they are gone. So, what you can say that it will belong
with you forever? There is nothing! Moreover, we also believe in
the fact that our birth is not just one time. We will born in a new
form after the death depending on what we did in this life. If you
did a lot of good things, you may become human or higher spirit form.
If you did a lot of bad things, you may become animal or lower spirit
form. Unfortunately, you still suffer during your new life from the
imagination of this world even in the high spirit form. We do not want
to get suffer again and again forever liked this. Thus, we try to
practice in the Buddha way to free our soul from this world.
I can not say how to do it since I am also not reach to that state.
However, I just believe in the Buddha and I try to practice everyday.

If you are asking for an actual, straight forward, direct to the point meaning, then Buddhism is the teaching of “Buddha”, which means awakened one.

If you are asking philosophically, that's a lot of meaning for a single word.
As for me, philosophically, Buddhism means nature of things as they are.

 

Buddhism is The supreme way of liberating our souls from the sea of sorrow (sufferings) AKA....found in other religions...but with different terminologies and rituals!

 

Buddha Religion is right behavior, right concentrate and right wisdom.
Everyone can improve the three of himself for better until it's is unity and stable which there is nothing bias your mind. Lord buddha teach the way to do it.

Outstanding not similar to other religion, Buddha Religion specify 8 group of person who can approve his method with the same true experience.
