ขอเชิญร่วมทำบุญถวายอาสนะสงฆ์ และตุงล้านนา

วัดบ้านปงขอเชิญพุทธศาสนิกชนผู้มีจิตศรัทธา ร่วมทำบุญถวาย อาสนะสงฆ์ และ ตุงล้านนา ซึ่งทางวัดจะนำไปใช้ใน งานสมโภช (ปอยหลวง) เพื่อสืบสานพระพุทธศาสนาและอนุรักษ์ประเพณีอันทรงคุณค่าของล้านนา

ตามความเชื่อของชาวล้านนาการบูชาตุงเป็นการแสดงความเคารพและต่อผู้ที่เสียชีวิต แสดงถึงความเสียใจและความเคารพต่อวิญญาณของผู้ตาย โดยเชื่อว่าตุงจะช่วยกระตุ้นวิญญาณให้เดินทางสู่สวรรค์

ผู้ถวายอาสนะสงฆ์จะเป็นที่นับหน้าถือตา มีชื่อเสียง บารมี เป็นที่พึ่งแก่ผู้อื่น
